Marceline Magoon

Marceline T. Magoon, Age 88 born in the year of our Lord October 14th, 1925 in West Palm Beach Florida. She passed away March 7th 2014, in Cape Coral, Florida. She was the only child of Aline & Wesley Tice. She met her soul mate John C. Magoon at a USO dance in 1942 in Augusta Ga. They were married on March 16th 1943 she was age 18 and continued for 60 years till John's passing in 2003.

They had two son's David & Michael. Michael relocated with his family from Lake Mary, Florida to take care of his mother after Marceline having lost her husband and mother in the same year 2003, they both lived with her and now she was alone.

Marceline remained very active, picking flowers in her garden daily, playing checkers and cards, doing crossword puzzles and watching her favorite TV shows. In Marcie's past she and avid artist and was quite a fishermen catching fish around the world. She also enjoyed her grandchildren and going to church.

Even in death she gave life to families that may be faced with end of life decision. Marceline put her end of life decision in her son Michael's hands and Lee Memorial health system tried to take that right away through the court system. Marceline held on to life till her court battle was won, then two days later she let go of her earth bound life and was taken to heaven. In the words of Fr. Remi Ssekiranda

Marceline is survived by her son Michael, daughter in law Kimberly, grandchildren Alexander, Connor and Kathleen.

Rest in peace mom, you are with your husband and family.
