Marek Ciezadlo, 75, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 17, 1949, in Tarnów, Poland, Marek lived a life marked by resilience, craftsmanship, and quiet adventure.
Marek proudly served in the Polish Military as a Paratrooper, a role that reflected his strength and discipline. After his service, he honed his skills as a tool maker—a craft he carried with him when he immigrated to the United States in 1985. Settling into a new life, Marek worked for many years at Kidder Stacy as a machinist and tool maker, earning the respect of colleagues for his precision, dedication, and quiet wisdom.
Beyond his work, Marek found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid reader, a lover of long drives, and a tinkerer who could often be found in his basement, surrounded by tools and projects that reflected his curious mind. He had a deep appreciation for travel, especially cruising, where he could embrace the open sea and explore new horizons. Marek cherished his weekly luncheons with his longtime friend—moments filled with laughter, shared memories, and reflections on the good old days. It was a tradition he eagerly looked forward to. Marek was preceded in death by his son, Robert in 2014.
He is survived by his wife Renata Ciezadlo and three children Joanna and Chris Tyminski of CT, Dorota and Christopher Pepin of FL, Tomasz and Mina Ciezadlo of FL, grandchildren Michael Smigiel and Savannah Pepin, as well as other family members in Poland.
Marek’s life was a testament to perseverance, craftsmanship, and the quiet strength of a man who built a life with his hands and heart. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Services for Marek will be held privately.
