Nancy E Newton

Nancy Elizabeth Newton was born 6/19/1932 in Washington, Ind to Olive Potts Cahill & Ralph Cahill. She married the love of her life, Charles Newton, on her HS graduation day in 1950. As newlyweds they lived in Lockport, NY for 3 yrs before moving back home to Ind. They worked together many years at Newton’s Processing Plant in Montgomery, Ind. - there were many fun stories & special memories made during those years of working together. These good years in Ind were blessed by the fellowship they had at Antioch & Bethany Christian churches. They moved to Winter Haven, Fl in 1985. They were blessed to celebrate 50 yrs of marriage before God took Charlie home in 2000.

Nancy is survived by daughter, Amy (Mark) LaRue, N Ft Myers, Fl ; son, Chris Newton, Cody, WY.

4 grandchildren: Brian LaRue(Sarah), Ga; Nancy Ann (Billy) Everly, Fl; Christopher Newton, Ca; Craig Newton (Katie),Ca. There are 7 great- grandchildren - Zachary, Morgan & Cara Everly; Sadie, Hannah, Isaac & Michael LaRue, nieces & nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by husband, Charlie; parents, Olive & Gene Loyd; brother, Michael Cahill; Her sister, Barbara Harvey who resides in W Lafayette, Ind.

There will be a celebration of life service on December 27, 2023 as family gather to share their memories of a special mom & grandma. Brian LaRue, grandson, will be officiating.

Thank you for the lovely flowers, phone calls, texts & cards we have received. We have felt your love. Your kind words have brought many happy tears - thank you for that. We were blessed.
