Rebecca Jane Gallagher

Becky (aka Ninny, Becky Boo) passed away unexpectedly at home Monday, August 13th, 2012. She was born in Utica, NY, April 23rd, 1963. She moved to Fort Myers, FL with her family in 1972. Many of Becky’s happiest days were spent watching her daughters grow up as cheerleaders and softball players in local associations and her many trips to regional and national competitions for both. She spent multiple years as an assistant coach with both little league softball teams and pop warner cheer & dance teams. She was looking forward to watching her grandchildren participate in the same local sports as her children did.

She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years Kevin Gallagher; daughters; Pearlessa (Justin Gaeta), Heather (Armando Torres), Brittany; step-son Bob (Whitney) Lucas; grandchildren Jayden, Brianna, Skylar, Adrianna, Davian, Morrigan, Bobby Dean Lucas III; mother Etta Mariotti; father Robert L. Barker; sisters Pam (Roger)Rubio , Shelly (Jim Lawson) Ostrander, Deanna(Barry)Reider, Joe (Tammy) Mariotti, and several nieces and nephews; and her extended family in Missouri.

The services will be at 3 pm on Friday at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, with visitation starting at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family reguests memorial donations to be made to the Cape Coral Junior Football Association to carry on her memory, made payable to CCJFA and sent to Cape Coral Junior Football Association, 625 Del Prado Blvd South, Unit #2, Cape Coral, FL 33990.
