

Loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and epitome of goodness and hero to many, Ronald Victor Flobeck passed April 19, 2021 at the age of 82. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sharon Sue Flobeck, his daughters and sons-in-law, Mark and Kimberly Winzenread, Peter and Heidi Lecius, Larry and Shawn Smith, and Jeff and Tiffany Sanders. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren Kayla Reitz and her husband Kyle, Alyssa Winzenread, Brett Winzenread, Baylee Smith, Zachary Lecius, Hayden Lecius, Sawyer, Lecius, Riley Sanders, Logan Smith, Sydney Sanders, Chelsey Smith, and great-grandchildren Alysia, Cooper, and Liam Reitz. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Kendall, her husband Wayne, niece Lisa and nephew Chris. Nieces Stephanie, Shannon and Shelly. Nephew Steve.
Ronald was born in Rockford, Illinois to Eric and Helen Flobeck on March 21, 1939. He graduated from Juneau High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he excelled at football, basketball, and track. He served in the US Army for four years at home and abroad. As a gifted salesman, Ronald started his career with the Fuller Brush Company and transitioned to selling cemetery lots. From there he purchased Mount Pleasant Cemetery in central Michigan. In 1976 he moved his family to Fort Myers and became sales manager for Fort Myers Memorial Gardens. In 1983 he and his business partner purchased Coral Ridge Cemetery and in 1985 built the Coral Ridge Funeral Home on the property. Ronald was dedicated to the cemetery and funeral industry and served as president of the Florida Cemetery Association.
Ron and his wife enjoyed an active lifestyle traveling, boating, and playing golf. His joy, laughter, humor, loyalty, and love will be greatly missed as one word summarizes his life, family. We will celebrate his legacy Saturday, April 24th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery. Visitation begins at 11:00 with ceremony to follow at 1:00 pm
