Stephanie Samios

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephanie Samios, who had been battling cancer the past two years. Stephanie peacefully departed this life on October 18, 2024, in Cape Coral, Florida, where she wished to rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty of the place she loved sharing with her husband.

Born on January 28, 1974, in Queens, New York, Stephanie was the beloved daughter of Dionisios and Kalliopi Agourias. She was preceded in death by her father, Dionisios Agourias, whose memory she cherished throughout her life.

Stephanie is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Samios, with whom she shared a life filled with love and companionship. She also leaves behind her loving mother, Kalliopi Agourias, and her brother Peter Agourias (wife, Jonette), with whom she shared a close bond. Her in-laws were also dear to her, and she will be greatly missed by her father-in-law, Theodore Samios, her brother-in-law George Samios (wife, Kalliopi, and their daughter Anna), her brother-in-law Peter Samios, and her “sister” Queen.

One of Stephanie’s greatest passions was her career as a hairstylist. She often said, “I never worked a day in my life,” because of the joy it brought her. Her co-workers and clients were like family, and she cherished the connections she made with them. In her spare time, she loved shopping and relaxing in her “jacuzzi” aka hot tub, simple pleasures that brought her immense happiness.

Funeral services will be held at Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd. S., Cape Coral, FL 33991, on Thursday, October 24, 2024. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place immediately after the service.

Stephanie will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the love she showed to all who knew her. Her bright spirit touched the lives of many, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
