Steve was born in Lakewood, Ohio on December 3, 1955 and was a gifted student athlete. He excelled at football while playing for his high school team and was a proud varsity member of the Redskins Football Team for Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he also earned a Bachelor's Degree.
Steve is survived by his mother Marilyn (nee Marshall); brother Ned Joecken (Cher), Terry Borecky (Steve), Luann Joecken and Julie Maloney (Don); many nieces and nephews, numerous extended family members and countless others who were proud to call him a friend. Steve will be warmly remembered and fondly missed.
