Dear Jane, 

What to say?  Tom was a part of my life since I was in junior high.  I think of him, and you, and the girls daily, and pray that all of the wonderful memories will help you to find peace.

I remember Tom taking me to school in his souped up, baby blue Ford(?) with the 45 player in the front seat.  Your wedding.  And a few years later how excited Tom was telling me that you were pregnant with Tracy.  So, so, so many memories over all of the years!

But the things that stand out the most were how Tom was a friend to everyone; his funny sense of humor; his imitations of people that would have me rolling; his love of boating; and most of all, his love for you and the girls.  He loved you, and that was obvious.  You two were a team.  And he certainly loved Tracy and Kristy.  When Hailey came along, the two of them were like two peas in a pod!  They had a very special bond.

May all of those wonderful, silly, tender, memories continue to sustain you.

When my Brother Frank Julian called tonight, to tell me he had heard at his Dearborn Health Club recently, that Tom had passed away last August 2011, I was truly Saddened. Please accept my Deepest Sympathy. I remember our Fun Times working at Pioneer Cleaners back in 1970 before I graduated from Edsel & how Tom would come in, to visit You.  I love all Your Family Pictures, Tom was a Great Family Man & very Loved, Beautiful Memories of Tom, to Treasure in Your Hearts always. I will Continue to Pray for You, & Your Daughters & Granddaughter. You All, have an Angel up in Heaven watching over You "Tom".

My dad lived life the way he wanted everyday. He did everything full speed & almost always without regret. I admire my dad & never imagined my world without him. The older and more mature I became, the closer my relationship became with my dad. It was only in the recent years that I realized how much I am like my dad & that is something I am very proud of. I've learned a lot of valuable lessons from my dad & I cherish every one of them. I realize that he has prepared my sister & I thoroughly to carry on, heads held high, with pride & with a purpose. There is nothing more that I've could've asked for from my dad...except more time together. Thank you dad for being proud of me and making me who I am today.

Florida will never be the same for us, as Tommy was such a part of our daily lives there. He brought such joy to us in his faithful friendship and constant help.

Tom was an amazing man who cared deeply for his family and always wanted the best for you all.

When I started to think about what I wanted to say about my dad at his services, so many memories flooded thru the last 35 years. My dad was my hero the greatest guy I knew and I can see that by so many of you being so supportive to our family in the past few weeks.

The most important thing I learned from dad was I could do anything! As a kid and even well into my adult years I heard people ask dad “don’t you wish you had a son?” Dad’s reply was always the same he would say “why my girls can do anything a boy can do and they will do it better!” Dad had us working in the yard and even at the shop at 14 years old elbow deep in grease and at the time I was thinking you JERK!! However, today as I think back those were the best lessons I have learned. Those lessons and others like it taught both my sister and I we could accomplish anything and I know he would be proud of us both. Dad was a tough guy but the biggest teddy bear when it came to us girls, especially my daughter Hailey! Those two were like two peas in a pod. Sometimes I even felt bad for mom when Hailey and Grandpa got going they were like two little kids or two old friends fighting over this or that. And Hailey your Grandpa loved you most you were his shinning star and he is so proud of you, you’re a big girl you’re defiantly a grandpa’s girl.

What I am going to miss most about dad is how supportive dad was no matter what he allowed us to make our own mistake and he was the first person there to help fix whatever problem we created whether we wanted it or not however, he was always the first to say “I told you so, just do it MY WAY” The hardest thing will be not being able to call dad and ask for his advice on anything and everything he always had an opinion and he was usually right. 

The Morgan girls are tough like dad and we are going to make it we will continue on and make dad proud of all our accomplishments!

We just found out about the untimely  passing of Capt. Morgan. He was a member of our Wednesday hotdog lunch during the winter months. We will inform the snowbird about his passing and do a prayer at our 1st hotdog lunch in Oct. We think back to the good times we all had and he will be missed by all. Our prayers are with all of you that the good memories will help get you through this difficult time.

So sorry to hear about your Dad, Kristy. :( The odd things is that we were just talking about you all this past week when we were in the Cape. I wish I would have known to be therer to support you. so young--and I know how close you were. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Jane,Tracy,Kristy-Ann & I were more fortunate than most-not only knowing and enjoying the Morgan family, but having them for neighbors. They were the very best. Tom exemplified what the word neighbor is meant to mean not only as a competent, hard working family man but a caring helpful friend. Every time we spoke, it was an enjoyable time. Our entire family just plain liked him. Blessings 'ol friend!

I can't express in words our shock and sadness to hear of Tom's passing.  Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you in this very difficult time.

There are many times all of you come up in conversation among our family when we reminisce about those great years as neighbors on Sherwood Court/Linden.  There were many instances where Tom provided guidance to keep some of us out of trouble, while allowing us to be teenagers and young adults--he had a talent for doing this.  We'll always be grateful for Tom's friendship and support of my parents.  All of you enriched their lives and provided them great comfort and help.  It was no coincidence that my parents moved out of the Linden house shortly after you moved to Florida.

We regret not being there in person to express our condolences and say Good Bye to Tom.  He will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We are so sorry.  When I think of Tom, though, I just smile. Tom was a great person and will be missed by many.  Just being around him made you smile and, of course, laugh.  So many people have great memories of Tom that will be cherished forever.  I know they will for me!  While a sad day, it's also a celebration for the life of a great man, father, grandfather, uncle, friend...the list goes on.

From our first meeting with Tom when we visited John and Gail Carroll's house back in 2001 and all of our subsequent visits, we always enjoyed Tom's many stories,his great laugh and wonderful smile. aunt jane, tracy & kristy- so much time i wasted, so many things i didnt say & now i cant find the right words to say how sorry i am for all of you. uncle tom was like a second dad to me when i was growing up & worked side by side with him. he will always be in my heart & i will always remember all the good times.

I wish I could say all that I want, but it fill a page...I as all of us will miss Tom very much, he and I have have been friends since we were 15 and I first worked at the garage.
He brought a lot of pleasure and happiness to all of our lives and will never be forgotten.
Tom and I were fortunate to carry on a long distance friendship all these years, we recently shared a call and all he spoke of was the great time he shared with all of you at Sea World. 
It is wonderful that he was able to share all his these years in Florida with all of his family at his side. 
Our Keys trip we took a few years back was one of the greatest boating ventures I ever shared and sharing it with Tom was the highlight for sure. .He was a wonderful Husband and Father and will never be forgotten...Again my thoughts are with you.....

We knew Tom since 1996, when we have rented a house, that he and Jane were taking care of, for the first time. Through the years Jane and he became more than just caretakers of the house we have rented. 
They became friends. 

We are very sad, that we have lost our friend.

We will never forget the 1st time we met Tom when we stayed at John And Gail Carroll's house in Cape Coral.It was easy to see why John Carroll thought so much of him and assured us Tom would always be close by to care for us....and that he was.
