Thomas Andrew Vana, Sr., 72, of North Ft. Myers was called to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. An automobile mechanic by trade, Tom spent much of his life working as a carpenter and living as a father. Although he will be missed dearly, Tom will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, trusted son and brother.
He is survived by his beloved wife of over 51 years Margaret Ann; 4 loving children Michele Ann (Ross) Neal, Thomas Andrew Jr., Todd Benton (Sherri), and Dr. Ted Robert (Dr. Cathy) Vana; dear mother Irene Mae, 2 brothers John and Frank; 6 cherished grandchildren Mindy Williams, Michael E. Williams, Jr., William, MaryAnn, Samuel Jolioeur, and Emma.
He is preceded in death by his father John and brother Henry.
A visitation will be held between 2 – 4pm on Sunday, June 3rd at Coral Ridge Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 11:30am on Monday, June 4th at St. Andrews Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Tom’s name to St. Andrews Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, FL 33904.
