Wayne Albert Mitchell

Wayne Albert Mitchell, 55 of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at his home. He was born on September 27, 1956 in Boston MA to Albert and Dolores Girten Mitchell. Wayne moved to Cape Coral in 2003 from Pembroke Pines, FL. His enjoyments included, boating, fishing, movies, books, running, nature, plants and sports. Wayne was a long time sports announcer and volunteer for many of Bishop Verot’s teams. He also coached Girls Softball in the area. Wayne was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. He was the owner/broker of Kalm Real Estate Services Corp and a member of the National Association of Realtors.

Wayne is survived by his loving family including his daughters, Katie Mitchell,and her fiancé Chris Bauman of Cape Coral, Allie Mitchell of Cape Coral; sister, Judie Mitchell of Coconut Creek, FL; former wife, Donna Mitchell of Cape Coral; and extended family and friends.

A Celebration Remembrance service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 29th with a visitation to begin at 4 p.m. at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Road, Cape Coral.
