William Christopher Gerrity

William Christopher Gerrity, 86, of Del Tura community in North Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015. He was born on July 2, 1929 in New York City, NY to William and Ella Regan Gerrity. Bill is a parishioner of St. Therese Catholic Church. He worked for many years as a Producer in the Television and Motion Picture business. Bill moved to the area in 2006 from California.

He is survived by his loving family including his children, Michael Gerrity, Kate and John Travaline and Meg Daly; grandchildren, Tara Lynne, James, Thomas and Devin Travaline and Kasey Marie and Billy Daly; brother, Brother Brendan Gerrity. He is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Gerrity, and his wife of 55 years, Margaret “Peggie” Gerrity. Bill was a devoted and loving husband, father and pop pop.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, FL.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 20th at St. Therese Catholic Church, 20115 N. Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers, burial will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery. Please visit www.coralridgefuneralhome.com to leave expressions of sympathy for her family.
