Although it had been a number of years since we'd seen Don, he worked with my Dad on oil rigs for a few years in the '80s. Dad always said he was the most reliable, hard working guy & hated to see him go when Don went back to work on the farm. We'll remember him fondly for being a responsible, good natured guy who really was the glue of the team, and we shared a lot of good times around the kitchen table back then. Very sad to hear the news.

To all Don's family goes our most sincere sympathy. Each of you lost a piece of yourselves with Don's passing. With all your memories, the good times shared,and your love we hope the you will be all be whole again and find peace and understanding.Your tears will turn to smiles as your remember Don.
I remember Don telling the teacher on Warren Moore and I. I think it was grade 1 or 2. We were playing a game on the playground and Don wanted me to play with him instead of Warren so tried to get Warren in trouble. I'm to embarrased to explain the game  and I can't believe we did such a thing at that age!! It is funny how some thing stick with you. Hug Often
