After taking her schooling in Naicam, she moved to the Carlyle area where she met Hugh, they late married on June 28, 1952. They settled on the farm until 1991, when they moved into Carlyle. In her earlier years, she was involved with UCW, Rebekah's, volunteering, curling, and north Carlyle card party club. In her past time, she loved to sew, knit, bake and garden. But most of all, enjoyed spending time with her family. In November 2010, she moved to Saskatoon to be closer to her family. Throughout the years, she loved playing cards, watching curling and cheering on the Roughriders. Her smile would light up any room whenever she got a visitor, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to Pat M. and Sylvia from St. Anne's and to her special friend Edna Sepos.
