Delorse Kendall Craig, “DeeDee” or “Mama”, age 51, of Carmel, passed away November 21, 2019. She was born January 24, 1968 in Franklin, Kentucky to Bill and Nellie Kendall. DeeDee was a graduate of Carmel High School and employed by Runyon Equipment Rental as an accounts receivable manager.
DeeDee was an amazing mother, wife, and friend. Family was everything to her. She kept her family together and she helped many of her friends and family through the hardest of times. Dee Dee loved four wheeling and going mudding on the golf cart at Raccoon Lake, and taking long drives on the weekends. She was also a caregiver to all the strays her family would bring home.
DeeDee is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Michael; children, Clint and Colby Craig, Skyler Wetzel; mother, Nellie Kendall; siblings, Donna Spence, Denise Hendricks, and Dennis Kendall; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Kendall; and siblings, Danny Kendall and Daphne Kendall.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 12 – 2 PM followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM at Leppert Mortuary – Smith Carmel Chapel, 900 N. Rangeline Road, Carmel, Indiana. Following the services at Leppert - Carmel, the family will be having a reception at the VFW in Carmel, located at 12863 Old Meridian Street, Carmel, Indiana.
