Mary Alice Bea, age 97, of Carmel, Indiana passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. She was born in Winchester, IN, 1 of 14 children, to Ralph and Grenola Clevenger on May 4, 1925.
Mary Alice was the heart and soul of her family. Her front door was always open to EVERYONE. If you needed help, a kind word, advice, a place to stay, a meal or just an ice cold beer, she was your person. She spent her life being of service to others. Her greatest joys were her daughters, son, and grandchildren. While we are devastated by her passing, we rejoice in the fact that she will be reunited with the love of her life.
Mary Alice is survived by her daughter Sherry Harper; her daugher Vickie Beltrami (Mike).
Mary Alice is also survived by grandchildren Dawn Spartz, Jim Young, Chris Young, Matthew Quinet, Justin Beltrami, Sarah Harper and great grandchildren Connor Young, Braeden Turner, Max Spartz, Adam Spartz, Jake Spartz, Gavin Beltrami, Logan Beltrami.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband Melvin (Red) Bea, her son Michael R. Waers, and 6 brothers and 6 sisters.
A funeral service for Mary Alice will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Leppert Mortuary – Carmel, 900 N. Rangeline Rd., Carmel, Indiana 46032. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at 3:30 PM at Washington Park East Cemetery, 10612 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
