To Eric, Melissa and Angela and your families, I send you my deepest condolences for your loss. My heart breaks for you all and I wish I could have been there with you in person. Mary was a soul sister to me, and we often joked that we must be related, but I’m sure she was the soul sister to many.  We shared many fun times, special moments and long talks. She was a remarkable woman, and I will remember her always. I was blessed to call her my friend.  

Eric and family, sending you my deepest sympathy - I only wish I could be there in Indiana to give you hugs in person. I had so many years of fun & friendship with Mary and am one of the lucky ones that was able to be part of her life. We will celebrate her forever while missing her beautiful smile. It was my privilege to meet and spend time with Mary and Eric several times in the last few years .  She was a warm and charming woman.

My sweet Mary - How you will be missed. Growing up on Park street until our mother died / you were an important part of our family!  Every single one of you. Barbara and I were always invited for the evening swims at the Saddle Club. As we climbed into the back of the old station wagon, we were just so excited to spend time together. God how many of us were in there?  We didn’t know a thing about seatbelts.  Didn’t need to. We just enjoyed being together. Words cannot express what the entire Legg family meant to us. I will never forget our Telephone games and the laughter we all shared every day. Although time and distance kept us separated as we raised our families,  you have always been my hero. You taught me more about faith than anyone, and the last several days has made me realize that even more. I have read and re-read your beautiful messages you wrote to me over the years.  Talking and crying with Kathy on Saturday was therapeutic as we laughed remembering our crazy times growing up. I’m so thankful for our friendship -

No words can express the sorrow we feel from the passing of our sweet friend, Mary. Our hearts are broken, but we're relieved that she is no longer suffering and in pain. The wonderful and fun times that we shared will never be forgotten, and we know that some day we will be together again. Our deepest sympathy and prayers for Mary's family, and especially our dear friend, Eric. We hope that you feel enveloped in God's love, while finding strength and courage from the loved ones surrounding you.

I have so many fond memories growing up and hanging out at The Saddle Club, Ramey's Lake and at gatherings with our families.  Glad our Dads brought us together in friendship.  Rest in peace, sweet Mary.

Forever grateful to have Mary and Eric as close friends.  She always made me feel welcomed and loved. Our wedding in Vegas accompanied by them will live in my heart forever.  They were examples of true commitment and love in a marriage and so much fun to be with.  In 2010, we celebrated Christmas Eve together with church, music, drinks, food and friendship. We also played cards and games together and Mary was always on my team. One time at a concert, she was so excited to see me that she ran over to me and knocked me down.! We laughed so hard that we cried. Mary was such a special and beautiful person inside and out. I will miss her so much in this lifetime. 💕

My heart is breaking for Mary and her family I still can't believe this is real. I will always cherish all the memories we made. Mary was so  Beautiful inside and out! R.I.P. Sweet Mary you will always be in our hearts.
