Rosemarie Catherine (Kavanaugh) Eden, 71, of Carmel, passed away August 18, 2021. She was born February 3, 1950 in Buffalo, New York to the late Thomas J. and Kathleen (Flood) Kavanaugh. She was a graduate of North Central High School and attended St. Joseph’s College for two years before starting her career. She was employed as a sales representative with Smurfit – Stone Container and Cra-Wal Container for several years before retiring.
Rosemarie is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Eden; sister, Mary Virginia Kavanaugh, and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Christopher James Eden; sister Kathleen (Hirsch) Kavanaugh; and sister, Maureen Kavanaugh.
Rosemarie was one of a kind. She was strong, honest, and sincere. She was compassionate and kind to everyone, whether she was with family or strangers. Despite her many challenges, she always managed to stay positive and optimistic even through the hardest of times. She lived for her daughter, Katie, and would always say how grateful and blessed she was to have raised such a special and loving person. Rosemarie was beloved by all and will be deeply missed by many.
