Timothy Brian Lopez went onto a better hope on Saturday, December 12, 2020. Tim was born on June 1, 1966; the son of Helen and Antonio Lopez, and the brother of Tony Lopez and Kevan (Jack) Lopez, all of whom are with him now, listening to his crazy laugh and expertise on every subject.
Tim’s remaining two sisters: Tina Brashear and Cindy Gobel reside nearby along with their spouses, children, and grandchildren. Tim’s family also included numerous nieces and nephews, friends, and other distant relatives.
Tim was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, but spent most of his life in Carmel, Indiana and attended Carmel schools. Tim was a talented carpenter and artist as well as an independent man. However, due to circumstances, he spent the last three and a half years of his life under the care of others. Although his health limited his speech and mobility, the love and care that his caregivers gave to him was not limited. Tim, popular among his caregivers with the reputation of being a ‘sweet man’, resided quietly (most of the time) surrounded in safety and love.
A private gravesite ceremony for family will occur on Friday, December 18th at Carmel Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on January 9th at 1pm, at Horizon Christian Fellowship, 7702 Indian Lake Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. All are welcome to celebrate Tim’s life.
