Nell was preceded in death by her parents, Ewell & Laura Venable and her brother, Tom Venable. She is survived by her children, Sylvia Stephens and her husband, Gary; Patricia Beck and her husband Jim; and Laura Emerson; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her family at TDIndustries and Friends at Cedar Creek Lake. She was an avid reader, gardner and grandmother.
Memorial services will be at 10 am Thursday at Rhoton Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials may be made to Happy Hill Farm Children's Home, 3846 N. Highway 144, Grandbury, TX. 76048.
