Albert Howe

Services will be held on Saturday, August 10th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 900 South Bowser, Richardson, TX 75081: Viewing will be held at 9 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 10 a.m.

Bert was born on June 22, 1929 in Westbuir, Angus, Scotland to Albert Howe and Isobella Buist and a loving family.

Bert worked for many years with British Rail and the Bank of Scotland.

Bert was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He was an avid walker and also enjoyed daily visits to the gym. He enjoyed traveling to many places but most of all returning home to Scotland. Bert was a devoted husband, father and Papa.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Ruby, siblings David Howe, John Howe, William Howe, Isobel Buist and Jean Ellison.

Bert is survived by his daughter Avril Anderson (Craig), granddaughters Kirsten Swenson (Eric) and Courtney Anderson, great grandsons Sam Swenson and Jake Swenson, and sister Betty Robertson.

Bert is also survived by his wife of almost 11 years, Jane Elizabeth Adams Howe, and his stepchildren, Kent Hercules (Tracie), Jill Elliott (John), and Clarke Hercules (Elizabeth) and 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend thanks to Harris Hospice Services, Avalon Care Home, Rhoton Funeral Home and many family and friends.

Bert will be laid to rest at Rolling Oaks Cemetery, 400 Freeport Parkway, Coppell TX.
