Born December 1, 1930 in McKinney, Texas. Passed away February 2, 2012 in Carrollton, Texas. Preceded in death by husband of 44 years, Pat A. Diffie and parents, T.H. (Bill) and Eurilla Williams. Survived by two daughters, Dava Diffie and Lisa Thornton; three grandchildren, Michael Diffie, Allen Thornton and Adrian Thornton; and one great grandson, Devon Diffie. She grew up in Plano, Texas, graduated from Plano High School and North Texas University. She was an elementary school teacher for 24 years, teaching 2 years in Dallas, and retiring after 22 years with the Carrollton-Farmers Branch school system. She loved her family and her church, First United Methodist Church of Carrollton. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 7 - 9 pm at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, Texas. Funeral Services will take place on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at 3 pm, also at Rhoton Funeral Home.
