Darrell Douglas Belew Jr.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, at 2:05 pm at the First Baptist Church, 4800 South Colony Blvd., The Colony, TX 75056.

Darrell D. Belew, Jr. was born in Abilene, TX to Darrell D. Belew, Sr. and Rita Belew on May 15, 1961. He graduated from Abilene High School. He married Ruby Belew on March 16, 2002 in Highland Village, TX. Darrell was the owner of Belew Brothers Towing for 14 years. He was a board member of the Denton County USBC, active in several bowling leagues, and he was also an active member of the North Texas H.O.G. for several years.

Darrell D. Belew, Jr. is preceded in death by Darrell D. Belew, Sr. and Rita Belew.

Darrell D. Belew, Jr. is survived by his wife, Ruby Belew, nephew, Shayne Stofer, brother, Greg Belew (Mary), sister, Vicki Dickerson (Jay), brother, Jonathan Belew (Jennifer), brother, Jeffrey Belew (Sarah), brother, Aaron Robinson (Lori), brother, Eric Robinson (Gina), and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be sent to the First Baptist Church, The Colony, Tx. or, in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to The Hearts for Ghana Mission (www.iam4ghana.com).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Belew Residence. This celebration will be an open house from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm with food, cold drinks and mixers.
