

Jacinto Castillo Ramirez, 69, passed away in his home on Monday, September 5, 2016. He was born in the small town of Flatonia on September 11, 1946 to Gabriel and Geronima Ramirez (Castillo). Jacinto was married to Gloria M. Ramirez (Mendoza) on August 29, 1970; they were married 46 years. He was known by friends as “J.C.” and “Chinto” by family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gabriel and mother Geronima and brothers, Tivo, Simon, Lalo, and Valentine; In-Laws, Ysidro and Josephine Mendoza; brothers-in-law, Manuel Ramirez, Daniel Padilla, Valde Gonzalez, Marty Martinez, Leon Vielma, Joe Mendoza, and Jessie Mendoza; sisters-in-law, Francis Delgado Ramirez, and Delma Orosco; nephews, Leroy Nieto Jr., Ernest Ramirez Jr., Dino Vielma, and Jessie Mendoza; and niece, Crystal Orosco.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; their three children, Christina, Jason, and Randy and their spouses; nine siblings, Mathis, Chavela, Beatrice, Ernest, Gume, Cleo, Gabriel Jr., Felix, and Lupe; seven grandchildren, Zavier, Noah, Blaze, Mia, Sophia, Josie, and Khloe. Further survived by other relatives to include 71 nieces and nephews.
Jacinto grew up on a ranch and loved to race horses on a quarter mile. As a young boy he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He had an appreciation for fast cars, Spanish music and he enjoyed spending time with family. He served as a tradesman with a focus on painting for many years before falling ill. He was a man who spoke with conviction and authority. He will be remembered as fearless, headstrong, and meticulous by those who loved him, knew him, or encountered him.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Rhoton Funeral Home located at 1511 South Interstate 35e, Carrollton, TX 75006. Following the Memorial, a time of gathering and reminiscing will take place at the Crosby Recreation Center, located at 1610 E Crosby Rd Carrollton, TX 75006, from 2:00 pm to 6:00pm.
