James Albert Wise

James (Jim) Albert Wise, the son of Morris Sheppard and Clara Leota Wood Wise, was born in Amarillo, Texas February 7, 1931 and passed from this life in Plano, Texas on Monday, January 18th following an extended illness.Visitation will be from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Rhoton Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 20th. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Thursday, January 21 at the Woodlake Baptist Church, 2015 Peters Colony Rd., in Carrollton with funeral services folowing at 3 p.m.The Rev. Mark Flurry and the Rev. Dr. Bob Evans will officiate.Preceded in death by his parents and one brother and one sister, Jim is survived by his wife, Jody and by his daughters, Debbie Towns and her husband Randy of Corpus Christi, TX and Carol Harrison of Princeton, TX; by two sons, Denny Paul Wise and his wife Connie of Rock Hill, S.C. and Gary Bruce Wise and his wife Barbara of Amarillo, TX; a brother, Raymond Wise of Amarillo and a sister Oressa Wise of Aurora, CO; 12 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.Casketbearers will be Matt Haynes, Travis Towns, Adam Harrison, Colton Wise, Daren Hill and Eric McGinty.The family has requested memorials to the Woodlake Baptist Church, 2015 Peters Colony, Carrollton, TX 75007or to the American Diabetis Association, Dallas Office, 4100 Alpha Rd., Stuite 100, Dallas, TX 75244 or the American Heart Association, Texas Affiliate, PO Box 15186, Austin, TX 78761.Arrangements by Rhoton Funeral Home.
