Janice Rynearson, 75, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on September 2, 1949, in Granite City, Illinois, Janice was the beloved daughter of Arthur Eugene Cox and Frances Freeman. She grew up with a strong sense of family and faith, graduating from Cypress High School before marrying the love of her life, James E. Rynearson, on February 24, 1969. Together, they built a beautiful life over 48 years of marriage, filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
Janice dedicated 22 years of service to the American Heart Association, where her compassion and commitment touched many lives. Beyond her professional work, Janice's true joy was found in her role as a devoted wife, nurturing mother, proud grandmother, and loving great-grandmother. She cherished time with her family, finding happiness in the simple pleasures of sewing, reading, and watching her children and grandchildren grow.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Eugene Cox, Frances Freeman, stepmother Loral Cox, husband James E. Rynearson, and niece Cari Crawford.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Jeffree F Rynearson of St. George, Utah; DeeAnna Rynearson of Dallas, Texas; and Tyrra Christian of Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her sister, Cheryl Crawford, grandchildren Charee Rynearson Peck, Kyler Rynearson, Braydon Aucoin, and Robyn Aucoin, as well as four cherished great-grandchildren Ryker, Londyn, Kayzlee and Everlee.
Janice’s legacy of kindness, strength, and quiet grace will live on through her family and all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
