Jeffrey Jacobs Romney

Jeffrey lived a full and rewarding life. In addition to graduating from the University of Washington, Seattle, he also served as Lieutenant and Captain in the United States Army from 1969 to 1972. Following his years in service, he established his career in sales throughout the insurance and trucking industry. His most precious gift in life was marrying his high school sweetheart, raising their 7 children, and creating everlasting memories with his 43 grandchildren.

In addition to being a devoted son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather, Jeffrey was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served many callings including a mission in Brazil and also as Bishop.

Jeffrey is survived by his spouse, Karen Romney; daughter Elizabeth Scott; daughter Heather Daines; son Ryan Romney; daughter Brooke Johnson; son Gregory Romney; daughter Meridith Matthews; and son Grant Romney; brother Douglas Romney, brother Richard Romney, sister Jacquelyn Campbell and sister Susan Coleman.

A funeral service for Jeffrey will be held Monday, June 7, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6545 W Plano Pkwy, Plano, TX 75093. A burial will occur at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
