Born December 13, 1947, in Oklahoma, she was a kind, beloved, and generous woman whose life was marked by love, laughter, and steadfast care for those around her. Jennifer lived in Farmers Branch, Texas, and leaves behind a legacy that continues to uplift everyone who knew her.
Born in Perkins, Oklahoma, Jennifer grew up in Perkins and Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from Central High School in 1966, carrying forward the strength and spirit of her early years into every season of life.
Jennifer’s working life reflected her determination and versatility. She followed many different career paths through the years, including working as a hair dresser, a nurse, and even owning her own business. In her later years, she worked as an account manager.
In 1971, Jennifer married Larry E. Maddux, and together they welcomed two children. Though Larry Maddux preceded her in death, their shared years and the family they built remain a lasting part of her story. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Clora May Johnson.
Jennifer is survived by her children, Sabrina Maddux and Nick Maddux; her daughter-in-law, Tiffany Maddux; her grandchildren, Alex Ramirez and Becca Maddux; and her great grandson, Mateo Maddux Ramirez.
Jennifer found joy in the simple, everyday pleasures that make a life rich: reading, playing games on her IPad, and cheering on the Texas Rangers. She also did crocheting, and she loved to go shopping in her spare time—always with an eye for something fun, useful, or just a little bit special.
Above all, Jennifer will be remembered for the way she made people feel—welcomed, cared for, and loved. Kind, giving, and full of love, she leaves behind a beautiful example of warmth and generosity that will continue to shine through her family and friends.
