Jose Luis Ruiz

Saved by Christ in 1980, he was a faithful member of the Christian church for 41 years and served his Savior until his last days as a member of La Primera Iglesia of Dallas. At La Primera, he served as an usher and became a deacon based on the requirements appointed in the Holy Scriptures.

He met the love of his life, Tabita De Leon, in the summer of 1980 and was never separated from her since. Before coming together in holy matrimony in 1982, he outwardly displayed his love for his fiancé by buying her a house. A place that would become the home to his four children and be filled with precious memories and wonderful times as a family.

Jose Luis was a hard worker and earned the respect of his colleagues and employers by his dedication and work ethic. He was a man of integrity and represented Jesus in all areas of his life. He had various certifications and reached high levels of clearance for the Mexican companies he worked for while in Nuevo Leon.

He loved fishing and sports that included soccer, baseball, boxing, football, and softball. Hobbies that he shared with his children who he converted to his favorite soccer team, the Rayados of Monterrey.

His greatest joys came in the form of his grandchildren Catelyn and Eliana Rojas who filled his life with love, adventures, and smiles.

Jose Luis was an intrepid and dynamic preacher without a pulpit and loved speaking in regards of the grace of Christ that saved him. He shared the gospel through words, works, and faith. Leaving behind an example of a righteous man who fears the Lord and who is planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.

He is preceded in death by his father, Manuel Ruiz Villanueva, his mother, Maria Guadalupe Flores Arambula, his brother, Ruben Ruiz Flores, and his brother, Hector Manuel Ruiz Flores.

He is survived by his wife, Tabita Ruiz, his children, Luis E. Ruiz, Elizabeth Ruiz, Misael Ruiz, and Kristal Ruiz. His grandchildren, Catelyn Rojas and Eliana Rojas and his sister Dolores Ruiz Estrada and son in law Andres Rojas.

Jose Luis was a devoted and loving husband, father, and friend, that we will miss dearly. His memory will forever be remembered.

José Luis Ruiz Flores nació el 18 de Octubre de 1955 en Monterrey, Nuevo León, México a Manuel Ruiz Villanueva y María Guadalupe Flores Arambula. Falleció el 10 de octubre de 2021 en Dallas, TX.

Salvado por Cristo en 1980, fue un miembro fiel de la iglesia cristiana durante 41 años y sirvió a su Salvador hasta sus últimos días como miembro de La Primera Iglesia de Dallas. En La Primera, se desempeñó como ujier y se convirtió en diácono según los requisitos establecidos en las Sagradas Escrituras.

Conoció al amor de su vida, Tabita De León, en el verano de 1980 y nunca se separó de ella desde entonces. Antes de unirse en santo matrimonio en 1982, mostró exteriormente su amor por su prometida comprándole una casa. Un lugar que se convertiría en el hogar de sus cuatro hijos y seria lleno de preciosos recuerdos y momentos maravillosos en familia.

José Luis fue un gran trabajador y se ganó el respeto de sus colegas y empleadores por su dedicación y ética laboral. Era un hombre íntegro y representó a Jesús en todas las áreas de su vida. Tenía varias certificaciones y alcanzó altos niveles de autorización para las empresas mexicanas para las que trabajó mientras estuvo en Nuevo León.

Le encantaba la pesca y los deportes incluyendo el fútbol, béisbol, boxeo, football y sóftbol. Pasatiempos que compartió con sus hijos a quienes convirtió a su equipo de fútbol favorito, los Rayados de Monterrey.

Sus mayores alegrías llegaron en forma de sus nietas, Catelyn y Eliana Rojas que llenaron su vida con amor, aventura y sonrisas.

José Luis era un predicador intrépido y dinámico sin púlpito y le encantaba hablar sobre la gracia de Cristo que lo salvó. Compartió el evangelio a través de palabras, obras y fe. Dejando atrás el ejemplo de un hombre justo que teme al Señor y que está plantado junto a corrientes de agua, que da su fruto a tiempo y cuya hoja no se seca.

Le anteceden en la muerte su padre, Manuel Ruiz Villanueva, su madre, María Guadalupe Flores Arambula, su hermano, Rubén Ruiz Flores, y su hermano, Héctor Manuel Ruiz Flores.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Tabita Ruiz, sus hijos, Luis E. Ruiz, Elizabeth Ruiz, Misael Ruiz y Kristal Ruiz. Sus nietas, Catelyn Rojas y Eliana Rojas y su hermana Dolores Ruiz Estrada y su yerno Andres Rojas.

José Luis fue un esposo, padre y amigo devoto y amoroso, que extrañaremos profundamente. Su memoria será recordada para siempre.
