

Age 56, passed away at home on June 24, 2012 in Carrollton, Texas. Born November 14, 1955 in High Point, North Carolina. Judy is survived by her husband of 27 years, Tim Rudd; mother, Iris Horner; sisters, Linda Baker and husband Jimmy and Jill Gaither and husband Dana; brother, Steven Crowell, aunt, Jo Ann Strictland and husband Finley, nine nieces and nephews and many loving pets. Judy also leaves behind her cherished "Texas friends and family." She is preceded in death by her father, Jack Horner; brother, Roger Horner and grandparents, Bessie and O.B. Horner, Sr. Judy grew up in High Point, North Carolina where she graduated from Andrews High School and attended Davidson Community College where she obtained her associates degree. She later moved to Carrollton, Texas in 1993 and made a home there with her husband where she touched many lives and created many lasting memories. Judy was often said to have a heart that was bigger than Texas. She loved many things including children, animals, movies and decorating her home. Judy was incredibly generous and known as someone who would do anything for anyone in need and devoted much of her time helping friends with various charitable events. She was a loyal and loving wife and will be forever missed by all those who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held in High Point, North Carolina on July 12th at 4 pm at the English Road Baptist Church. There will also be a Memorial Service in Carrollton, Texas on August 19, 2012 at 2:30 pm at Coyote Ridge Golf Clubhouse located at 1640 Hebron Parkway in Carrollton, Texas 75010. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Humane Society in honor of Judy and her love of animals.
