Kirk Paul Meehan

Kirk Paul Meehan of Carrollton, Texas passed away peacefully at home December 5, 2011. Kirk was born in Philadelphia where he began a life long career in law enforcement. He served as a police officer for the Philadelphia Police Department and soon joined the United States Army where he served as Military Police and later agent for Criminal Investigation Command. Upon fulfilling his duties with the US Army, Kirk continued his career as a respected polygraph examiner working closely with local law enforcement agencies. Kirk earned his undergraduate degree at University of Nebraska at Omaha and masters degree at Webster University. Kirk will be remembered for his gift for telling jokes, love for the Cowboys and Rangers and his devotion to his beloved wife of 51 years. Kirk is survived by his wife, Sueko, sister and brother in law, Junko and Joe, nephew Tony, niece Lisa, four grand nieces and grand nephew. Funeral mass is scheduled at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church Thursday, December 22nd at 10:30 am, followed by burial at DFW National Cemetery.
