LaVerna Ricco, our mom, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep this past Thursday night. Mom loved reading a novel every day on her Kindle, completing the crossword puzzle in the Dallas Morning News, watching British television programs on PBS, and had recently mastered the art of Amazon shopping on her tablet computer! We are grateful for the care and compassion provided by Briarview Senior Living in Carrollton and Pathways Hospice. She was 93 years old. The family will have a private service for LaVerna.
