Linda Joyce Meador Hanner

Age 71, passed away on July 31, 2012 in Carrollton, Texas. Born June 18, 1941 in Dallas, Texas to C.E. and Johnie Mae (George) Meador. Linda is survived by her daughter, Sheri Hanner; son, Steve Hanner and wife Dixie; grandchildren, Jeremy Hanner, Michael Hanner, Lacy Hanlon and Zachary Hanlon; brothers, David Meador and wife Glenda and Teddy Meador and wife Doris, sister-in-law Shirley Meador and various nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 47 years, Jerry Wayne Hanner and brother, Charlie Glenn Meador. Linda was known by those who loved her as a woman of class, elegance, beauty and style. She had an incredible sense of humor and a smile that was truly contagious. Linda understood the value of time spent with family and those she loved, and treasured those moments above all else. She was a very gracious lady who knew how to be tough when it was required. Her strength and big heart were inspirational and she will be deeply missed. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 7 – 9 pm at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, Texas. Services will take place on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 10 am, also at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton, Texas.
