

Louise Tordera Robbins passed away September 22, 2011 after a remarkable life of 92 years. She was born September 25, 1918. She is survived by her son Mike Johnson and daughter-in-law Shannon Johnson, granddaughters Stephanie, Denise and Kate Johnson, stepson David and nephews by marriage Dennis and John Robbins. Louise was a childhood actress and a part of the Our Gang Comedies, (Little Rascals), as well as other full length motion pictures. She graduated from UCLA and was an editor on the Daily Bruin staff. She was a proud member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and a campus rep for Bullocks Department Stores. She had two wonderful marriages to Ralph G. Johnson, (35 yrs) and Rev. Clark Robbins, (25 yrs). Louise worked for women’s rights, speaking for the League of Women Voters all over California. She traveled extensively and had a thirst for knowledge and a love of other cultures. She is a member of Holy Covenant UMC in Carrollton, TX and Rolling Hills UMC in Rolling Hills, California. Memorials may be made to either church. A memorial service for Louise will be held Saturday, October 8, 1:00 pm at Holy Covenant UMC, 1931 Peters Colony Road, Carrollton, TX 75007.
