Mariamma Abraham George

Mariamma George was born to godly parents, Mr. T.K Abraham and Annamma in Narakathani, Thypparampil house, Kerala, on October 1, 1924. She is the second of 10 children. Her siblings are late evangelist, T.A.Kurian, (Saugar), late T.A.Samuel, (Madras), late T.A.George, (Bhilai), Kunjamma Kurian, (Mundiappally), Grace Cherian, (Koippuram), T.A.Alexander, (Ernakulam), late T.A.John, (Narakathani), T.A.James, (Narakathani), T.A.Leelamma, (Narakathani).

She was born again as a young girl and was baptized. She got married at the age of 17 to Mr. V.K.George of Venneappara, Mannarathara, Ranni, Kerala. He was also saved, baptized and in fellowship with the Mannarathara Brethren assembly. Together they lived in Ezholi and then in Chethackal. They enjoyed their fellowship at the Chethackal Brethren Assembly.

God blessed them with three sons and two daughters. All of them are saved, married with families and are in fellowship with believers at their respective places of residence. . Our dear father passed away in 1977 at the age of 52.

Ammachy has 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. They are all saved.

Her oldest daughter, Mrs. Alice Parayil resides in Minneapolis with her husband Mr. Kurian Parayil. Her second daughter Leelamma and her husband Thomas Mathew share their time between the USA and Kerala. Her oldest son, George Jacob and his wife Susy together with their son, Reggie and his wife Sweena live in Irving, Texas. Their daughter Lovely and her husband Justin live in California. Her second son George Kurian and his wife Jaisy with daughters Julie, Joanne and Jennifer live in Dallas, Texas. Her youngest son Johnson George and his wife Mercy with their sons, Andrew and Michael live in Carrollton, Texas. Her granddaughter Liz and her husband Ken with their four children, Andrew, Jordan, Kendall and Faith live in Johnston, Iowa. Betsy and her husband Gregory live in Paris, France. Mini and her husband Babukutty with their two children, Femi and Finney live in Abu Dhabi. Jenny and her husband Joji with their two sons, Joseph and Jeremy live in Seattle, Washington. Her grandson Joemon and his wife Smitha with their daughter, Alexia, live in New York.

Ammachy migrated to the US 33 years ago and lived with her children until seven years ago. She went to be with the Lord from Northgate Plaza surrounded by most of her children and grand children.

She lived an exemplary life of deep conviction and passion for the Lord and His Word. She set a great example for her family to live a life of commitment to God.

Ammachy will be greatly missed.
