

Pat Leroy Earle, born Oct 10, 1952 in Dallas TX. He was a graduate of LHHS class of 1971. He attended SFASU and U of T in Austin, TX. It was in his Jr. year that he discovered his kidneys were failing and would require hemodialysis treatments. Our brother Pat, was the longest living recipient of a kidney transplant in Dallas, TX. In 1981 he was gifted a kidney from his sister Regina and this made it possible for him to continue life for the next 31 years.
Retiring from the Dallas County offices in 2008 after serving 25 years as a deputy sheriff for the Lew Sterett County Jail System. This past Sunday May 6, 2012, after fighting a long and hard battle with diabetes and many complications from this horrible disease- He is now at total peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Pat is preceded in death by father, Louie Ollie Earle and brother Gary Lynn Earle.
Pat is survived by his mother Claudia Ruth Earle, sister and brother-in-law Cindy and Rick Davis, sister and brother-in-law Regina and David Westbrook. Along with 7 nieces and nephews- Gary and Shondi Earle, Amanda Self, Jamie DeWitt and Cody, Caleb & Connor Westbrook.
A memorial celebration will be held Friday May 11 at 10:00 a.m. Grove Hill Memorial Funeral Home 3920 Samuell Blvd. Dallas, TX.
Family is requesting donations be made in honor of Pat to the kidney or diabetes foundation.
