Peggy Lois Elliott Kimberlin

Age 69, passed away on July 24, 2012 in Irving, Texas. Born July 30, 1942 to Habe and Nettie Mae Elliott in Dallas, Texas. Peggy was a resident of The Colony, Texas for over 45 years. She is survived by her 4 children, Jimmie, Jr. and wife Lisa, Kathy, Donna and husband Danny and Kim and husband Joe; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and sister, Ruby Faye. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jimmie Max Kimberlin, parents and brothers. More than anything, Peggy loved her family and understood the value of special moments shared with the people you love most. She enjoyed cooking for her family and especially loved listening to her husband, Jimmie, play the guitar and sing. She held a special place in her heart for country music and was also a big fan of Randy Travis among many others. Peggy also loved Bingo and spending time with friends. Those who knew Peggy best remember all the wonderful qualities that made her unique and her big heart was often mentioned. She would do anything for anyone and always put others before herself. The love she gave is evident in the broken hearts left behind, she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 6 - 9 pm at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, Texas.
