Rebekah is survived by her husband Deane Gates, her daughters Patsy Gates and Melanie Chatmas, her granddaughters Leighton and Jolie Chatmas, her sisters Debbie Campbell and Judy Atteberry, nieces and nephews and many family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Owen Moore, her mother, Patsy Nell Moore and her brother Edwin Owen Moore.
Rebekah worked for Glidden Paint for more than 35 years and, in her spare time, she loved to travel.
A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, July 17, 2017 at Rhoton's Funeral Home in Carrollton, TX at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the City of Garland Animal Shelter at 813 Main Street, Garland, TX 75040.
