

Robert Malcolm Johnson, age 83, of Dallas, TX passed away Friday, February 10, 2012. Born December 31, 1928, to Curtis Lee & Anna Mae Johnson in Dallas, Bob graduated from Crozier Technical High School and was a lifelong resident of Dallas.
Bob started Thermal Control Service in 1962, passing his business to his sons upon retirement. A musician his whole life, Bob was known for pounding out a Boogie Woogie second to none, playing guitar, recording, and accompanying friends.
A member of Royal Haven Baptist Church for 40 years. Bob accepted Jesus as his Savior in 1972 and has been consistent in his walk with God ever since. We believe the angels are tapping their toes as we write.
Bob is preceded in death by his son Robert Johnson and sister Ann McNichols. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Willie Johnson; Sons Les Nokes & Mack Johnson of Mesquite, TX; daughter, Sherri (Curtis) Forrester of Carrollton, TX; 9 grandchildren; and brother, Curtis L. Johnson of Dallas.
Visitation will be Monday, February 13, 6 to 8pm at Rhoton Funeral Home, where Services will be held at 10am, Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Dallas.
