Roma Elms Grimes Chapin, born in Gustine Texas. Retired from E-Systems. Roma surrounded her son and daughters with an unconditional and selfless love that they have now given to their own families. She is survived by Mother, Vane Elms; son, Lanny Grimes; daughters, Carleen Warren and Sarah Nickerson; grandchildren; Christopher Grimes, Cari Simpson, Dawn Warren, Mitchell Warren, Jordan Grimes, Kristen Grimes, Claire Davis, and Megan Grimes; great grand children; Tyler Hardin, Dylan Simpson, Morgan Simpson, Corbin Grimes, Audrie Grimes and many more family and friends. Preceded in death by father, Henry Leroy Elms; husbands, Thurman Chapin and Les Menzo.
Services will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 2 in the afternoon in the Chapel of Rhoton Funeral Home. Pastor David Sutton will be officiating the services. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Rhoton Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date in Gustine, Texas.
