This note was addressed to Ruby by a SS class member before she died,  "You are missed in First Baptist Ch. The Colony--We love you, Annie C.
Some of my special personal memories of Ruby.
The last card that I know she submitted to her SS class had this message to us: Thanks ladies for your prayers groceries & money from an unknown person or persons. Please keep me in your prayers.  I need all of you.  Love to all  Ruby"
Ruby often or always expressed regret that we had done something to help her, but it was our joy!
My impression of her was that she every Sunday gave money to the SS class offering--even when we know she was struggling with paying her bills.
I enjoyed visiting in her house because it was always so neat and clean and orderly and so was her yard.
One of my great joys just recently was meeting her brother and his wife (who had been married for soo many years)and her son at the hospital before her hip surgery.
I miss Ruby and in a certain sense dread going back to SS tomorrow because she will never be there again,  But she is having so much more joy in heaven right now, so that is OK. Love from Phyllis, one of her SS teachers.

May God be with the family and friends of Ruby. She will be deeply missed.

My prayers go out to all the family and friends of Ruby's in this time of sorrow.
