Ruth Nadine Adamo, 93, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

Nadine was born in Sulphur, Oklahoma on March 19, 1931, to Thomas C. and Bessie Jayne Albright, the seventh born of eight children. She graduated from Sulphur High School in 1949. Nadine married Thomas E. Adamo in May 1953; they settled in Carrollton, TX in 1963 and were married 24 years until Thomas’ passing.

Nadine worked as an Office Administrator for General Electric’s Computer Time Sharing Division for 30 years and retired in 1997.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling and spending time on the internet. She was a member of Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch, Texas.

Nadine is preceded in death by her husband, Tom, grandson, Brian Adamo, her parents, and six brothers and one sister.

Nadine is survived by her four children: Gloria Adamo-Hall and husband Cliff Hall, Mark and wife Jeanna Adamo, Suzanne, and Tim and wife Kay Adamo, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A private family service and interment will take place at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Dallas and Northeast Texas Chapter.
