

Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Maureen and Tony Green, his son and his wife, Mark and Debi Johnson, His grandchildren, Keshia Jalkson, Cameron Johnson, Zachary Hopkins, Donavan Johnson, and his great granddaughter Taelynn Jalkson.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Viola M. Johnson.
Robert was born in Tacoma, Washington to William A. and Lydia M. Johnson on April 2, 1940 and grew up in Longview Washington. He met and married his wife of 48 years in Herlong, CA, where he was stationed with the U.S. Army. They eventually settled in Carson City where they spent the remainder of their lives.
Robert graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a BA in Business Administration-Economics and worked as a fiscal manager for the state of Nevada. He enjoyed time with his family and friends, camping, fishing, get-togethers and watching football and baseball.
Services will be held at 11am at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 3 Melanie Dr., Dayton, Nevada, on Monday March 28th with a viewing at 10am. Bob will receive full military honors.
