Andrew Wesley Ingle Sr.

Mr. Ingle was born on October 20, 1935 in Trion, GA, son of the late Cicero Ingle and Grace Hines Ingle.

Mr. Ingle retired from Canton Wholesale in 1997. He worked many years in the wholesale and retail field at Duncan Wholesale , Moores Market and also co- owned and operated Whites Superette and Andy’s Laundry Mat in White,GA. He also worked part time for his friend Dub Hicks after his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Bagley of Cartersville, GA and great grandson Cooper Reed Williams on May 4, 2015.

Survivors include his bride of 58 years, Myrtle Ruth Benson Ingle of Carterville,GA to whom he married on May 18, 1957; four children, Tim and Kristy (Ingle)Holley of Taylorsville ,GA, Andy and Ann Ingle of Cartersville, GA, Billy and Tammy (Ingle) Womack of Kingston,GA, Scott and Rhonda Ingle of Aragon, GA ; ten grandchildren, Josh & Kristin Holley, Derick & Mindy Dodson, Jordon & Kim Thompson, Charles & Kasey Hicks, Allie Ingle, Brad & Megan Williams, Tyler & Heather Barron, Zach & Brittany Estes ,Kendall Womack, and Sabrina Ingle; nineteen great grandchildren and was awaiting the arrival of another great grandaughter in February; three sisters, Johnnie Neal and Stella Wigington both of Cartersville and Margaret Stanley of Roan Mtn, TN; a special niece and nephew Tammy Wigington and Adam Watson, several other nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Moore, Tyler Barron and Eddie Copeland officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Floyd Creek Cemetery.

Serving as Pall Bearers will be his grandsons, Josh Holley, Derick Dodson, Charles Hicks Brad Williams, Zach Estes, and Jordon Thompson.

Honorary Pall Bearers will be Michael Wigington, Tyler Barron and Gary Chapman.

Visitation will be held from six o’clock in the evening until nine on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Owen Funeral Home.
