Barbara Charlene James

Mrs. James was born in Calhoun, Gordon County, Georgia daughter of the late John Henry Ray and Eria Ethel Milsap Ray. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse James; a son, Carlos James; brothers, Carlton Ray & Stevie Ray; sisters, Geneva Pittman & Rebecca Ray.

Survivors include her children, Phillip James and wife Misty, Jesse James and wife Tammy, Heather Diaz and Karen Brock; grandchildren, Cody James, Cameron James, Elizabeth Diaz, Isabelle James, Isabella James, Chris Brock; 1 step granddaughter, Whitley Haygood; a great-granddaughter, Anna Grace Brock; nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted Sunday afternoon June 17th at 4:00 P.M. in Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Raymond Townsend officiating. Interment will follow.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:30 until 3:30 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Cameron James, Curtis Grier, Richard Townsend, Michael Collum, Brandon Lanham and Terrell Hulsey.
