

Mrs. Lewis was born January 4th, 1938 in Bartow County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Columbus Summey and Ardle Fowler Summey. She worked for Spring City Knitting for 26 and a half years and retired from Eckerd Drugs. She enjoyed working about her home, traveling, and crocheting. Her true love was spending quality time with her family.
Mrs. Lewis is preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd R. Parr, Brothers; Edward, JL, Willard, James, and Wallace Summey. Survivors include: Husband, Robert Lewis, Son, Ernie Parr (Leah), Daughter LaTressa Hancock (Tim). Brothers; Larry and Glenn Summey, Grandchildren; Chasity Hancock Collins (Darrell), Charity Hancock Chastain (Philip), Nicholas Parr (Kayla), and Joshua Parr (Alisha), Great Grandchildren; Halle and Hunter Collins, Alexis, Alaina and Jonathan Parr and Harper and Hudson Parr. Mrs. Lewis also leaves behind her best friend and cousin, Patricia Floyd Davison.
The family would also like to thank: Dr. Gregory McDonald and staff, Dr. Satyen Mehta and staff, Dr. Ankit Patel and staff, Dr. Rob Rodgers and staff and Amedisys Hospice and Dr. Roger Hiser.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 17, from five in the evening until eight. Services for Mrs. Lewis will be held in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, January 18, at eleven in the morning with Rev. Charlie Marus officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville. Serving as pallbearers will be: Nicholas Parr, Joshua Parr, Charles Summey, Jerry Summey, Kenneth Chitwood and Michael Floyd. Honorary pallbearers include: Darrell Collins, Hunter Collins,Philip Chastain and Hudson Parr.
