Betty Elizabeth Woodard, age 71 of Cartersville, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 04, 2023. She was born in Cartersville, GA on December 12, 1951 to the late Clayton Edwards and Cathryn Grizzle Edwards.
Betty is survived by her husband, Allen Woodard; children, Karen (Greg) Whitfield, Kristy (Lee) Stringer, Kevin (Lynn) Southerland, Dylan ( Katie) Woodard; grandchildren, Dustin (Jade) Whitfield, Cole (Shaw) Whitfield, Nicholas Blackston (Staci Huskins), Jacob Browning, Alyssa Southerland, Isaac Southerland, Harley Southerland, and Jaxson Woodard.
Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 07, 2023 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Bobby Gayton and Rev. Larry Hufstetler officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 06, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
