Bobbie Glen Culp

Mr. Culp was born September 13, 1938 in Paducah, KY, a son of the late Cecil Culp.

He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was an active member of Savior of All Lutheran Church in Cartersville, GA and the Euharlee Masonic Lodge #457. He loved to spend time with his family and especially his two granddaughters, who referred to him as “Poppy.”

Mr. Culp was preceded in death by his grandson, Zachary Lee Arnold and son-in-law, James Arnold.

Survivors include his mother, Claudine Scillion Culp of Cartersville, GA; his wife of 53 years, Suzanne Culp; son, William Culp of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Mary Arnold of Aragon, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil Earl and Linda Culp of Kingston, GA; sister, Linnie Mae Turley of Hiram, GA; two granddaughters, Taylor and Jessica Arnold; nine nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from Savior of All Lutheran Church, Cartersville, GA with the Rev. Michael Zwemke officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Acworth, GA.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Scott Culp, Eric Culp, Luke Turley, Rickey Davenport, Mark Anderson and David Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Savior of All Lutheran Church, 35 Indian Trail SE, Cartersville, GA 30120.

The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home, Cartersville, GA from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, October 15, 2012.
