

Mr. Fulton was born on September 17, 1928 in Atlanta, GA son of the late Thomas Hermon Fulton and Mable Willie Mattison.
Mr. Fulton graduated from Georgia Tech in 1950, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Management. He was also an officer in the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, a Cadet Major in the R.O.T.C. and was one of the editors of the “Yellow Jacket” the school’s humor magazine. After graduating, Mr. Fulton was commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force Reserve during the Korean War. After his discharge from the Air Force, he came home and began working for the family business, Fulton Brothers Electric Company. The family business was eventually sold and Mr. Fulton organized his own real estate company, Carl Fulton Enterprises, Inc. Mr. Fulton was of the Methodist faith, and was one of the founding members of Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church in Dacula, GA. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf and he volunteered at tournaments at the Golf Club of Georgia and the Atlanta Athletic Club. His true passion was his family. He prayed daily for blessings to be bestowed on his wife, children and grandchildren. He is already so greatly missed, but will never be forgotten. His name has finally been written in the Book of Life.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Margaret “Bobbie” King.
Survivors include his loving wife of thirty-seven years, Joanne Williamson Fulton; sons, Richard “Skip” (Cyndy) Fulton and Robyn Fitzgerald; daughters, Carol (David) Apple and Dianne (John) Cassara; step-daughters, Dianne (Tim) Henderson and Carol (Roy) Meadows; grandchildren, Katie and Bobby Fulton, Michael (Alex) Apple, Daniel Apple, Emily Apple, Russell Apple, Chase Cassara, Kevin Cassara; step-grandchildren, Tommy and Tyler Henderson, B.J. (Kelley) Meadows, Lindsay (Jesse) Drake; five great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church in Dacula, GA with Rev. Jason Mincey officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Peachtree Memorial Park in Norcross, GA.
Serving as pallbearers are Mike Apple, Daniel Apple, Bobby Fulton, Chase Cassara, Kevin Cassara, B.J. Meadows, Tommy Henderson, Russell Apple and Tyler Henderson.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family for one hour prior to service time at the church.
