Carmine Del Guercio

Mr. Del Guercio was born on August 27, 1934 in Newark, NJ, son of the late Vito Del Guercio and Maria Malanga Del Guercio.

He was a dedicated employee with Shop Rite Super Market for thirty-nine years, where he served as the produce manager. He was a true and faithful servant of the Lord, he and his loving wife of sixty-one years, Joan Del Guercio were among the founding members of St. Elizabeth Church in Flanders, NJ. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lynne Bray; brothers, Larry and Vito Del Guercio.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Michael (Sue) Del Guercio of Cartersville, GA, Steven Del Guercio of NJ and Keith (Christina) Del Guercio of TN; daughter, Karen (Richard) Boyer of NJ; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy Del Guercio; sisters, Dolores Del Guercio and Jane Rocha, both of NJ.; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at eleven-thirty in the morning on Saturday, the 22nd of October at St. Francis of Assisi, Cartersville, GA with Father Juan Anzora officiating.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis of Assisi, 850 Douthit Ferry Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
