I  have many  memories of Cheryl when she was young before she moved with her family to Georgia.

While Beverly, Cheryl's older sister who was my age was my  pal when we visited Westfield, I did notice Cheryl.   Although there was always a lot of activity in our Grandmother's home where we often gathered and in their home that she shared with three other sisters just down the road, it was clear that Cheryl had her own compass at an early age.   She had a special relationship with our Grandmother Pell during those early years when her family lived on the larger Pell farm.   She took an abiding interest in animals, especially her gentle interest in what she then called “widdies”  (young chicks).  Of course, there were dogs and farm animals as well, and she always gravitated toward these. Cheryl was quiet but unerring in her interest and observation.  She could help direct adults to some of the long distance drives when she had been there only once.  She wanted everything organized, it its place, a universe of order.  She is reported to have later said of her unerring sense of direction:   “I never wanted to get lost”.

She was a quiet gentle nurturing  soul.

Jean and Ellen, I have so many images from our childhood of Cheryl--A lover of all animals, she talked sweetly to the little "biddies" in a box in Grandmother's kitchen, she even cradled a fully grown hen (a pet?) in her arms who seemed used to being cuddled and petted. She laughed easily at the antics of the older cousins and seemed unperturbed by the rainy days that might alter our plans for sliding down the red clay banks and force us inside the noisy living room with the many grownups. I remember how Cheryl was an expert at knowing exactly where she was and the direction to turn even if the adults around her weren't certain. She did have an intuitive sense of things, even as a child. I am thinking about you two remaining sisters today, holding you in the light. Even though I haven't met Tyler and Ashlyn, I know your Grandmother loved you dearly. She sent pictures of you both to my parents, her Aunt Anna and Uncle Tyree soon after you were born. I met this beautiful lady at Publix. I enjoyed working with her and we became friends right away. She said walking Pine mountain was on her bucket list so here she is at the top!!! I sure will miss you my friend! ♥️

Cheryl was and is a shining light for Jesus. Everywhere she went her smile was contagious. I am sad to hear of her passing. She will be missed… praying for family to be comforted as only God can. 🙏🏻💕🌹🌹🌹🌹

I met Cheryl when she lived at Hillendale.  She was visiting my best friend, Pat Knott.  I immediately knew she was special.  She was so beautiful and so full of life.  I have kept up with Cheryl with cards and phone calls.  I know she is no longer in pain and Heaven is her new home.

Cheryl will be remembered for her cheerful smile, her beauty, and her love of life.  I worked with Cheryl at Publix, and I have such admiration for her dedication to her work.  Her family meant so much to her, and I'm so glad to have known such a beautiful lady.  Rest now, Cheryl.  I love you!

Cheryl always brought a pleasant energy to my front end. I always knew when she walked in I would hear her speaking to everyone greeting them with a good morning or good afternoon. When she told me she was going to be Cruella De Vil on Halloween 2022 I knew I had to be a dalmatian. You will be very missed Cheryl.

I love how sweet and fashionable Cheryl always was.  She inspired me more than she'll ever know to be a better version of myself.  My condolences to her family.  She was a true gem.

Cheryl was such a nice lady. She use to come to Snow Springs Baptist Church is how we met her. She would show her delicious deserts on the internet they looked so yummy. Fly high. God bless the family you guys are in our prayers Phillip,LynnSmith & Adam Pasley

I met Cheryl when she lived next door to me. We became friends right away. She was an avid decorator and loved working with plants and arrangements.
I will forever treasure our memories we made together. She was a true friend and I will miss her terribly.

My sincerest condolences, Cheryl was the sweetest and happiest woman  who I had the privilege of knowing. May she rest in peace & without pain. She's finally with Renan again. ❤️

Cheryl was a longtime  client at the salon. We will miss seeing her every Friday. She was so good to us, she cooked us all kinds of good treats like banana pudding and chicken and dumplings. She was friendly, creative and a people person . Cheryl loved her family and I know they loved and will miss her so much. RIP Cheryl ,we love you

Cheryl was a beautiful person inside and out. Always there to lend a helping hand and so committed to her family. I will miss her and I know she is with Jesus, Travis and Lenon. RIP dear friend You will be greatly missed
